Three mentions of First Base in Evening Standard this week

The Evening Standard Homes and Property this week mentioned First Base THREE times in total this week.

Phil Wade, First Base Director was featured in an article discussing modern methods of construction and the impact this is having on the construction and development  industry.

Phil is quoted saying:

“We remain big fans,” says operations director Phil Wade. “But it remains tough to raise finance to build modular schemes. We have to put more money in upfront to fully design and order the homes. That means extra risk. And we’ve not seen any system yet that is substantially cheaper than traditional methods.”

In addition, our plans to redevelop Bridge Close Industrial Estate in Romford was featured in a feature spotlight. The piece highlighted our plans to work in partnership with Havering Council to bring forward over 1000 new homes, a new school, Health Centre, local shops and amenities and a new bridge connecting the area directly to the Elizabeth Line.
