Supporting self employed people is vital for the future of town centres writes Barry Jessup in Property Week

Director Barry Jessup foresaw the Chancellor’s announcement when he made the case for the #selfemployed in this week’s Property Week.  He said “The rise in self-employment has helped to change the face of high streets, with every café becoming a shared workspace, bringing vibrancy back to town centres; and they continue to play a huge role.  The self-employed have helped to save a lot of businesses; we now need to repay the favour.”

He also discusses the importance of co-work spaces, innovation hubs and the right environments to retrain and reskill post-Covid, mentioning the next-generation MK:U university planned for #miltonkeynes.
