We are pleased to announce that our plans for the former Gardiner Haskins site in Bristol have been shortlisted in the Future Place Category of the Pineapple Awards. Designed by Woods Bagot, the plans will see the restoration of a Grade II listed building, new high quality workspace, homes and public spaces for all to enjoy. In addition, the scheme will be car free and deliver over 100 new plant species, supporting Bristol City’s plans to achieve net zero carbon by 2030.
The Pineapple Awards, organised by The Developer magazine and supported by the Design Council celebrate the best in place and the urban life of developments, where people want to live, work and play. The Future Place category looks to award a masterplan, planning application, action plan or design proposal for a place, whether in development or theoretical, celebrating a mixed-use development or a cluster of developments that create a neighbourhood, large or small.
The winners of the golden pineapples will be announced on 13 November at 3.30pm.
