PC Gamer Net, the online bible for developers and publishers in the Esports industry, have published an article about Silvertown’s Esports plans.
Speaking to Ben Reed, First Base’s Head of Brand Engagement, the article details plans to deliver a 300,000 sq.ft hub featuring player lodging, fan zones, caster studios, areas for players to prepare for matches, and of course a new Esports arena.
Ben Reed, Head of Brand Engagement for property developers First Base, told PC Games N’s Samuel Horti: “It will be one big amphitheatre, like a mini version of Rome’s Colosseum with boxes all the way round for teams and testing areas.
Silvertown is a a £3.5bn development in the Royal Docks with flexible commercial space for businesses of all sizes, up to 3,000 new homes and the creation of more than 21,000 jobs.
